Registration Ends April 9th!!

Per the SCARR 08 pricing information on the website, we have a clause stating "Unregistered attendees will be charged $50 per day + passenger fee and cannot be guaranteed meals or an event T-Shirt."

For people that can/want to make it out for the day, this is a more cost effective option they can take advantage of, however, it's only for the single day that they arrive and assumes they would not be camping overnight. Should someone decide to camp and stay another day, they would be incurring another $50 per day + passenger fee for the following day and again, cannot be guaranteed meals or an event T-Shirt.

We suggest that if someone was planning to camp or attend SCARR for more than the single day, it would save them money by simply registering normally for the event and paying the full event registration fee. This would also give them the extra benefits of all three of the included meals even if they show up as late as
Friday afternoon as well as receive shirts.

SCARR Registration ends on Wednesday, April 9th. Registration fee includes the park admission, camping fees, three meals, a shirt, and one raffle ticket included in the registration packet.

Due to insurance liability issues ALL attendees MUST pre-register online. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. The entrance gate will be open at the following times:

Thursday, April 17th from 7:30 am until 6.30 pm.
Friday, April 18th from 7:30 am until 6.30 pm.
Saturday, April 19th from 7.30 am until 1.00 pm.
Sunday April 20th at 7.30 am.

Park will close on Sunday at 3 pm. Gates will be locked at 3.15pm.

Reminder: "PAY IT FORWARD"

Texas Rovers will be collecting donations of canned meats (e.g. tuna, chicken, beef, salmon), canned fruit and plastic containers of peanut butter during SCARR. Please bring your can items to the registration booth. Let's show East Texas how Texas Rovers can give
back to the community.

SCARR 2008

Texas Rovers has reserved the entire park at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area to mark the "5th Year Anniversary" of the South Central Area Rover Rally. The committee has added an extra day to this exciting amily event to be held from Thursday, April 17th thru Sunday, April 20th. Land Rover enthusiasts from far and wide are invited to participate in or be introduce to off-roading, camping and other planned outdoor activities during this four day event. There will plenty of activities for both adults and children.

Additional information will be posted as the event nears. Look forward to seeing you there.  Please note that you must sign up with Texas Rovers.  There is an all inclusive fee for this event. See Texas Rovers for fee schedule.  Early registration ends March 15th.  Registration after March 15th will incur a $35 Late Registration Fee.  Ouch....  So get registered now.....
