The Club President, Steve McDonald, began the meeting approximately at 7:30 with the usual club member introductions.

PDFs of factory recommended services for most models of Rover will be posted in the website by Steve McDonald.

Two Discoveries are out for sale – details in the website.

Carson totaled his truck, some parts are out for sale.

Steve’s son is in the military, in Afghanistan, driving a Defender 110. Some members will bring some items to send to him by mail – Jeff has about 10 boxes put together by girl scouts ready to be shipped.

HLRC shirts and t-shirts for sale in the website.

If you have Land Rover items you don’t want around your garage anymore… you can donate them to the club and they will get sold through the website!!.
Past Events:
- Brazos Valley off-road park. Several members attended. Pictures are in the website.
- Beach Run. Jeff Handley recovered two Jeeps that were stuck in the dunes.
Upcoming Events:
- Camping at the beach before it gets too hot, maybe at Matagorda –details in the website-
- Movie night at the hotel June 21st – sign-up sheet in the website.
- Barbecue day at Memorial Park to be organized.
- Maybe an off-roading and barbeque day (Saturday) at BVORR for kids during summer vacation. For 5 to 10 kids. Coordinated through Scotty Thorpe.
