Discussions at Meeting:

Ken began the meeting at 7:30 sharp with the usual introduction along
with why each of us joined the club.

The consensus of the club members was: to learn about their Land Rovers
and to gain friendships with weirdo Land Rovers owners! We talked about
how well the club has been doing. The members' enthusiasm is what helps
keep the club strong. Many of us have formed friendships in the club
and this holds us liable for always owning a Land Rover.

Bill Mallin passed around copies of the LRO magazine that some of the
guys are in from their trip to Moab. Dr. Josh made the cover - WOOHOO!

This is going to increase traffic to the club website; we need to
determine what to do in regards to website space.

Increase dues, leave it alone and archive old thing, etc.. Nothing has
been decided it was just brought up that we are filling our quote for
space and traffic to the site.

We have not forgotten about additional club merchandise.

The committee members met with Chander from Land Rover North America to
discuss getting them to work a little closer with clubs. We hope to see
more of Chander in the future.

Upcoming Events:

The two events below are in conjunction with Southern High Rollers
http://www.southernhighrollers.com/index1.html

Tree's Ranch July 31st weekend http://www.treesranch.homestead.com/

Katmecy Rocks Labor Day weekend http://katemcyrocks.com/
We need people to sign up for the K-rocks event so we can determine who
all is willing to share a room and make reservations ASAP since it is a
holiday weekend and there is an event going on that same weekend.
(Cowtown Jeeps is hosting Karnage in Katemcy that same weekend
http://www.cowtownjeeps.com/ )

Steve McDonald is going to get the ball rolling on the England trip,
stay tuned.

Oct 16 weekend is the work day at Barnwell Mt. No one went to the one
in April so we need to make sure we have a good turn out for this one.
If you go to work then your wheeling fee is waived for the weekend (NOT
CAMPING FEES). This will be camping season, so make plans to join us.

That same weekend is the British Car Show at Trader's Village off of
West Rd. and Eldridge.

Steve talked about the Hummer event - this is an awesome fund raiser for
the club so please if you are able to, come out and show your support.

This Sat. the 10th Steve is meeting at McD's in Columbus at 9:00 for
additional trail clearing and setting up stakes. (Bring your tools to
clear trails)

Sunday the 11th the day of the event we are meeting at McD's at 8:00.
Please provide your own cold beverages and make plans to be their
majority of the day.

Remember we are putting on this event for Hummer so have your manners!
:O)

The club thanked Steve-o for all his hard work in getting this off the
ground.

And thanks to Trey for sending Scott Henderson from Hummer in the club's
direction.

After handing our prizes the meeting ended at 8:30.
