First Business:

Why was the club formed and what is it's purpose?

Lance Sloan: A group of people met @ Miami Subs (people with ALL types of vehicles (JEEP, Land Rovers etc..) Alan and MiMi said they started the club in 1997.

Doug: Talked about the first club events i.e. Fort Hood event, tech show @ the dealership. He also spoke of the week long trip to Moab.

Sam: Sam spoke of the very first meetings were @ the dealership. Continued with a detailed history of the club which was well told.

Second:

Ken spoke about committee members and if a new committee needs to be voted in. Suggestion made to do away with the magazine, but to develop the website to a more dynamic day to day entity.

There were side conversations going that some of the business on the table were mostly Bi-law issues.

At 7:45pm a vote of no confidence was taken (secretly) to decide if the committee was to stand or be replaced.

Third:

Will the club accept commercial non-Land Rover gifts?

YES- Club WILL accept gifts without e-mails.

- separate e-mail list can be made for those who want to network their businesses.

Forth:

Internet site is to be made with members BIO's to foster better relations.

Sam made the suggestion on making the monthly meeting more structured. His suggestions included the ideas of:

• Tech tips
• Rallys
