Sergio Sosa, the President, called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m
Past Events: The 4 th of July party at Steve and Mary McDonald's house was a lot of fun. Everyone had a good time.
Future Events: Sergio announced the following future events:
(1) August 5, 2006 is movie night at Sam Shirley's house. Movie night starts at 7:00 p.m. ;
(2) September 10, 2006 is the next adopt a highway – pick up trash day;
(3) September 23, 2006 is movie night at the bar at the Renaissance hotel;
(4) September 27 – 29 is the Solihul Society Rally in Moab . Members can sign up on HLRC website, but must also sign up with the Solihul Society;
(5) October 15, 2006 is a Land Rover rally organized by Doug Aitken. More details to be announced later; and
(6) Lance Miller announced that Bill Burke will hold a training class and a Camel Trophy race in October, 2006. The event will be held at Brazos Valley Off Road Park. More details to be announced later.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
