Sergio Sosa, the President, called the meeting to
order at 7:30 p.m.
Sergio reviewed past events. The picnic was a success.
Everyone had a good time and the food was great. Sam
Shirley, John Vegas and Clay Templeton attended a trail
clearing in Gilmer.
Sergio explained why we were having a vote on who
can participate in winning the big prizes at the AGM.
Pursuant to the Bylaws, at the last HLRC meeting, it
was announced that a vote would be taken at the May
HLRC meeting. A vote was taken by secret ballot and,
as a result, a member must participate in at least
2 events during the year in order to win the big prizes
at the AGM.
Melissa Burns announced that SCARR was scheduled for
May 14 – 15, 2005 in Gilmer. Everyone who plans
on attending should sign up on SCARR’s website
and HLRC’s website.
Sergio announced that a monster garage has been scheduled
for Saturday, May 7, 2005, and after the monster garage
there will be a meeting for the people that are going
to Colorado. Also, on May 7, 2005, is Motorcar Ltd.’s
annual event.
Melissa stated that a trail clearing for YO Ranch
has been scheduled for the weekend of June 11, 2005.
The entrance fee to the Ranch and the camping fees
will be waived.
Bill Mallin reported that there are still some spots
available on the second Colorado trip if anyone is
interested. The amount each person will pay, to cover
Bill Burke’s fee, will be determined by adding
the total number of people attending the trips and
dividing that number against the total cost of Bill
Burke’s fee. Final payment will be due by the
end of May. At this time, the final payment amount,
per person, has not been determined.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
