Sergio Sosa called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
at Jax.
Trey Burns reported on the Hot Springs trip that several
club members took over Easter weekend. He said the
park is beautiful and a great place for off-roading.
Steve McDonald reported on the trash pickup. A group
of 8 HLRC members picked up 38 bags of trash and DOT
was pleased with the work. HLRC’s new stretch
of road is off of Fry Road on FM 529. The Club is committed
to pick up trash 4 times a year.
Sergio announced that after discussions with several
members, the HLRC is considering setting membership
eligibility requirements for winning prizes at the
AGM. In order to win a prize at the AGM, a person would
have to have been a member of the HLRC for a specific
period of time. During the May 2004 meeting, the members
will vote on whether any membership eligibility requirements
will be allowed. The Board of Directors will then decide,
if the members vote that membership eligibility requirements
should be in place, what the requirements will be.
Melissa Burns reported that the following events have
been scheduled:
- Monster
garage at Kai Dussling’s shop
- Gilmer work weekend
- SCARR at Gilmer
The dealer event for the North Store has been canceled.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
